All bus stops are on street corners and are demarcated by a tall sign with a bus emblem and a route number. Most stops display a "Guide-A-Ride," a rectangular box that displays the route map and the bus schedule. Bus fare is $2.25, payable with MetroCard or exact change (no dollar bills). Single-ride tickets sold at ticket vending machines are $2.50.
