How to get there from LAX?

Big Blue Bus

Board the "C" Shuttle. Board the Big Blue Bus Line 3 or Rapid 3 to get to your destination.

LAX FlyAway

At LAX, passengers board buses on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal under the green "FlyAway, Buses and Long Distance Vans" signs. At LAX, passengers board buses on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal under the green "FlyAway, Buses and Long Distance Vans" signs.

Culver City Bus

Board the "C" Shuttle. Culver City Bus Line 6 Rapid (no weekend or holiday service).


Shuttles pick up passengers on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal. Look for orange signs that say "Shared Ride Vans".

Commuter Express (Bus)

The Commuter Express bus only makes a limited number of stops so travel time is as short as possible. Its 14 routes serves all major centers in Los Angeles, including downtown.

Santa Monica Big Blue Bus

The City of Santa Monica department provides bus service through the Big Blue Bus. Its 21 routes cover 51 square miles of greater Los Angeles.


DASH Downtown provides almost 7 million passenger trips per year in Downtown Los Angeles. DASH has 32 different routes operating every 5 - 30 minutes. Tickets are only 50 cents.

Metrobus and rail

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) operates a hybrid system linking almost 3,000 buses with the metrorail system to serve the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. The Metro Rail is the rapid transit rail system with six separate lines (the red, purple, blue, Expo, green and gold lines) and 80 stations in the Los Angeles County.
