The three clearly marked DCA pet relief areas are equipped with complimentary waste disposal bags and reciprocals, providing an essential service for animals in transit.

  • Terminal A: Adjacent to Door 1 and Door 5</li>

    The Reagan National Airport is fully accessible for persons with special needs, starting with designated parking in all facilities. TTY telephones are available throughout Terminals B and C, marked by clear white and blue signs. All pay phone areas are equipped with a wheelchair accessible unit, and all phones are hearing-aid compatible with volume control and Braille or raised numbers. DCA utilizes a Visual Paging System along with the Public Address System. Through Terminals B and C, the Visual Page is displayed above each Airport Directory. Additionally, each gate has visual boarding announcements, and Baggage Information Display System units can be found throughout the airport. Security is also accessible with a special program for travelers with disabilities.

    All elevators are equipped with Braille buttons and are accessible to wheelchair-bound patrons. Some elevators provide audio announcements for passengers with special needs.
